Since acquiring the property in 2014, Sunshine Butterflies has transformed the site into a thriving, purpose-built facility that delivers a diverse range of services, including social and life skills programs, Supported Employment, Supported Independent Living, therapeutic services, and community events.
With facilities including a commercial kitchen, accessible gardens, activity spaces, an adventure playground, therapy rooms, farm facilities, an accessible swimming pool, and on-site accommodation, ‘Our Backyard’ creates opportunities for people to develop skills, build confidence, foster independence, and enhance their wellbeing.
‘Our Backyard’ is a place of learning, purpose and belonging - where people are empowered to grow, connect with others, contribute to their community, and live life to the fullest.
